Old Poems after Nights Out
Mood:  party time!

Awake Drinking in Sleepers

I get the aesthetic

it draws me in,

without completely seducing

nor reducing appreciation

for form.

How form interacts with sight,

and touch,

however,

is something else- so there is always something

left-over, that whispers me

towards a more religious attempt.

 ------

The Ethics of Indifference:

They came to me while I was

entertaining myself in the mirror,

noticing pressable pimples and cheeks

that weren't to-the-bone

Here I will lay,

here I will stay,

there - I will lie

with a bona fide style

----

----

Some Pretentious Shit:

REPE-

Newness,

       precious newness

Blue today

       and tomorrow?

One,

two,

tomorrow is not.

rebend

[death to the fuckidels]

 ---

Harakiri.

     It is not a joke.

     It is not a joke.

But I see it in the movies,

               the T.V.,

                     my erstwhile plans -

    Doesn't matter.

    Doesn't matter.

Go home and do not die.

Go home and do not die.

 ----

Moving Closer Off the Path

Hear ye!

            Hear ye,

       insipidity,

The touch that binds strangers

      is lost in a handshake!

(Oh nay....)  Oy vey...

Armageddon does not make the world an

ugly place,

nor did Jesus' chastity

make him sexier on the cross.

The flesh with god is only good

when it comes

like you father did-

yet sex will be your beginning

only once sleep is your end.

[observation - no knife to cut bread for homeless man, no good excuse.  CARRY KNIFE]
